Darfur Women Network Soup Making Business
Goals of This Project:
Women will become empowered and business savvy while learning tool building skills.
Participants will be able to attend a training where they can build resiliency and gain job opportunities in the workforce. This soap making training will help displaced women affected by war to rebuild their communities.
Displaced Camp Participants
The participants are from the Sakali, Mousi, Al-Wali, and Sharg-Al Fania displaced camps.
Women were able to gain resources, skills, and network with others throughout this program to become successful leaders in their community.
Benefits of This Program:
- Help reduce the number of child laborers and school dropouts.
- Helps women and families to earn steady income and capacity building.
