The Impact of Your Donations
Many women in the refugee camps have the sole responsibility of caring for their families both physically and financially. Our Safe Stoves initiative helps to create income that helps them care for their families.
The benefits don’t end there. Our stoves are energy efficient. That means women and girls make less trips outside the camps to collect firewood where there is a great risk of physical harm and rape. Thanks to your donations, women and girls took 75 less trips to collect firewood. That also means that limited sources of fuel (the wood) will last longer for everyone.
Safe Stove also reduce the risk of burns and smoke inhalation. You donations will help 1220 moms keep their children safe and healthy.
