Technology Literacy Program
Computer skills and ability are core competencies required to meet the entry-level requirement to secure jobs in many government, businesses, and organizations jobs in Sudan. However, our beneficiaries who are girls and youth, from displaced, war-effected, and poor families are computer illiterate. They are living in crowded displaced and scattered settlements around the citifies and without electricity. They are struggling with dire living conditions, the majority being women and children.
As a result, DWN has designed specifically hands-on training in computer literacy and education to meet job needs for entry-level staff with basic computer competency. This program will directly improve their lives and give them hope for a better future.
We have many more upcoming programs for the youth to help build economic growth, and capacity building.
