Below is the Bio for our dietetic who helps with the cooking demonstration.
‘My name is Rachel Martin and I am a dietetic intern from Ball State University. I am working on my Master’s degree from Ball State and finishing up my internship to be able to become a registered dietitian. I did my undergrad at Purdue University and double majored in dietetics and nutrition, fitness and health.
I have always lived in Indianapolis and I grew up in the Nora area. I am very excited to work with the Helpings of Hope because not only did I grow up in Nora, but I also love the garden to table movement and helping others to develop healthy eating habits. I hope to learn more about the non-for-profit area and grow further in my professional development in preparation for my future career in dietetics.’
